Rice straw production process.

Prepare ingredients.

The raw materials for making rice straws are entirely natural, from rice starch and tapioca starch. In addition, the color of the straw is extracted from foods such as butterfly pea flower, turmeric, cocoa, black rice, white rice, red rice, and moringa oleifera

Mixing ingredients.

Rice flour, tapioca starch, vegetable powder are mixed with water using a specialized mixer until smooth. The ratio of water, rice flour, tapioca starch, and vegetable powder needs to be controlled to achieve the appropriate viscosity for the production process.

Steaming and forming raw materials.

The evenly mixed flour mixture is heated from 80 – 120 degrees to destroy harmful bacteria and molds such as E.coli, Salmonella… in the mixture.

Forming straws.

After the above steps, the flour mixture reaches a certain soft and firm consistency. The flour mixture is passed through a machine to form straws with suitable diameters. Then the machine will cut the straws into suitable segments for use.

Cold drying.

The straws are spread on large trays, placed in drying chambers at 45-80 degrees for about 2 hours.
